Former Ghana Most Beautiful winner, actress and Groupe Jay & Jay President, Sally Akua Amoakowaa, popularly known as ‘The Ashanti Goddess’ launched the season 5 of #ThePurpleRoomShow , a award wining television program which seeks to empower young women in society.
Speaking the event, @iamakuaamoakowaa thanked few friends and family who has been behind throughout what she she described as ‘tough times’ in her life.
Akua acknowledged some friends , Family and other good people who stood by her through her social media trolling days.
“Today is a very important day in my life because I have been off the screens for like two years and this is my comeback. Y’all here I believe you’re on social media and you witnessed what I went through 2-3 years ago but I got few good people, my family and my friends who kept me going.” She said.
‘The Purple Room’ show season 5’, a show where her foundation, Street Aid Ghana helps the vulnerable in the society. Past editions, second to be precise was aimed at discussing issues affecting relationships and society and finding lasting solutions to them.
