NBC has set its lineup of summer unscripted series, and it includes usual suspects America’s Got Talent and American Ninja Warrior — along with a show that last aired on the network a decade ago.
Who Do You Think You Are?, a genealogy series executive produced by Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky, will premiere Sunday, July 10 — 10 years and two months after it last aired on NBC. The show, which tracks celebrities’ ancestry, ran for three seasons on the network before moving to TLC in 2013. It ran for several more seasons there, most recently in December 2018.
Lisa Kudrow on The Kelly Clarkson Show reveals the coolest thing she’s learned on her show “Who Do You Think You Are?” and teases the new season coming to NBC in July, featuring Allison Janney, Zachary Quinto, Billy Porter, Nick Offerman, Zachary Levi and Bradley Whitford.
Kelly said she was so excited to have participate in the show because it was the coolest thing ever finding about her great, great, great, grandfather “Isaiah Rose.”
Lisa also state “learning about history” sticks out for her while she doing the show.
” I have to say the thing that sticks out since I started doing that show, was how much I was learning about history that you don’t learn in school”.
“There are these personal stories and experiences that do not get taught at all”.
Lisa said the return of the “Who Do You Think You Are?” will do six episodes with Allison Janney, Zachary Quinto, Billy Porter, Nick Offerman, Zachary Levi and Bradley Whitford.
