Gentleman Releases New Single ‘Can’t Lock The Dance’ In Collab With Stonebwoy

They both just connected on different levels not only music, but styles and as African icons holding it down on the international stages.

German iconic reggae-dancehall legend Gentleman, on Friday, dropped his first song in the month August and it’s a fiery dancehall track titled ‘Can’t Lock The Dance’ in collaboration with Stonebwoy.

They both  announced the collab after the two reggae musicians, connected for the first time early this month on their summer tour, after delivering fascinating performances respectively at Summerjam Festival. On Wednesday (August 3), Gentleman confirmed the project would be released soon in an Instagram post. He wrote: “New music alert!!! Mad combination! Big up my brother Stonebwoy!”

They both just connected on different levels not only music, but styles and as African icons holding it down on the international stages. Speaking of the dou feeling each others vibes, the German musician Gentleman brought back Stonebwoy as forerunner for his performance at the ended Uppsala Reggae Festival in Sweden. Where the duo were the headliners for this year’s African Music Festival in Germany on August 6th.

This is yet another heights added to the Ghanaian certified with no doubts reggae-dancehall G.O.AT’s already known greatness of lyrics which attracts bigger names and legend in the music industry. In April, reggae legend Alpha Blondy featured him on “Love, Power,” a standout reggae single off his album which they both performed live the first on “Reggae Sundance Festival,” Alpha Blondy invited him back to stage, after Stonebwoy already performed and announce him as “c’mon my prince, from Ghana, he’s a dangerous son of mine.”
