The 2022 edition and 10th celebration of the music and fashion event, Rhythms On Da Runway will be held on Sunday November 20, 2022, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) under the theme: ‘The Green Edition,’ and according to the organisers, Nineteen57, intend to use this edition to draw attention to sustainable solutions for development.
This year’s edition features some of Ghana’s and beyond’s most compelling and intriguing designs and collections, including Velma’s Accessories, House of Paón, Mod. Jant’s Collection, Abrantie the Gentleman, Kustom Looks Clothier, Nivaldo Thierry (Mozambique), Siga Jeans (South Africa), Yapaul, Quophi Akotuah, KatieO, Aha Brands, and Nineteen57 Africa are among the brands represented. originating in Ghana, Africa.
Citi TV’s AJ Akuoko-Sarpong has also been tipped to be the host for the 10th edition of Rhythms On Da Runway, she has a plethora of experience, having presented the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), the Entertainment Achievement Awards last year (EAA) and also the host for the 9th edition of Rhythms On Da Runway, which was held last year.
Music luminaries including Akwaboah, Abiana, Kwabena Kwabena, Tinny, Eno Barony, Empress Gifty, Epixode, MzVee, Jackie Ankrah, Elsie Duncan Williams, Ofori Amponsah, Epixode, Lasmid, Titi Owusu, DJ Neptune (Nigeria), Sonti (South Africa), and Victor AD (Nigeria) will this year’s musical performances.

The 10th iteration of Rhythms On Da Runway, themed “The Green Edition,” was formally introduced on September 30, 2022, in Accra. The celebration was held at The Lotte in Cantonments, and notable attendees included Grammy Award nominee Rocky Dawuni and real estate tycoon Nana Kwame Bediako (Cheddar).
The last edition of Rhythms On Da Runway, held in 2021, was themed ‘The Masquerade,’ to encourage the use of face masks in the prevention of COVID-19 transmission.
The event showcased a variety of designs from across the African continent and the African diaspora by acclaimed designers such as Senyo Foli, Katie O, Neyomi, MUDI, Jesu Segun, Nadrey Laurent, Pernia Couture, Nineteen57, Gloria Sarfo, and Attoh Andoh.
