‘Drafted’ Album: Jovaan Features Reggaeton Star Wisin On “Embustera” | Video

New rap artists from Puerto Rico have a particular flow. Young Miko has been promoting it all year, and today we’re celebrating it with Jovaan’s brand-new bad-guy tune, “Embustera,” which also features Wisin, the father of reggaeton.

Puerto Rican urban rising singer Jovaan released his highly anticipated solo album Drafted featuring the focus track “Embustera,” a collaboration featuring Puerto Rican ATR superstar Wisin.

The lively urban song called “Embustera” talks about ladies who pretend to be interested but actually have partners. The song’s catchy rhythm transports you to the club and gets you in the mood to dance and have a good time while showcasing Jovaan and Wisin’s rap styles.

New rap artists from Puerto Rico have a particular flow. Young Miko has been promoting it all year, and today we’re celebrating it with Jovaan‘s brand-new bad-guy tune, “Embustera,” which also features Wisin, the father of reggaeton.

The smooth and captivating cadence of Jovaan, who specifically prolong a word to add emphasis, gives us a taste of the new wave of the el movimiento in this song. Not to mention his unrivaled OG style as half of El Do de la Historia, which combines Wisin’s hard-hitting rhyme pattern with the beauty of TBT reggaeton.

And where are the single women?// Girl don’t be a liar // That you are not there, leave //Your boyfriend is waiting outside. // You went out to the street in search of the problem. // And you’re singing all my songs. // And where are the SINGLES?,” As he begins the song’s first verse, Jovaan sings.

Her boyfriend in diapers and she hanging out with the tough guys. // Hard, that newly made body was inaugurated. // Let me jump to that, like kangaroo // I give it to you and I don’t bill you,” Wisin continues, expertly fusing his unique voice with hard-hitting lyrics over a well-known reggaeton tune to create an atmosphere that perfectly captures the personalities and styles of both artists.

With nine distinct tracks, including a “Bonus Track Bape Remix” that includes his recently published collaboration with some of the greatest names in Latin urban music, including as Brray, Jon Z, Kevvo, Yovng Chimi, and Nengo Flow, Jovaan decided to establish his identity with the publication of Drafted.

Jovaan experiments with the Latin urban genre with this album, fusing a lot of reggaeton, drill, and trap to create a sound that is great for clubbing, listening to on long journeys, or blasting at yourself. Showcasing two generations in one track is a great way to promote new talent, and we’re excited to hear more of Jovaan’s music.

We are very excited to see what Jovaan has in store for us in the approaching year as he establishes a new standard for urban music and signs a deal with the record label WHITELION, which predominantly promotes urban artists.
