Jeremy Renner Is In ‘Critical But Stable’ Condition Following Snow Plow Accident

Recent Instagram videos of the actor using a snowcat to clear excess snow from his property show how he has a strong connection to the family’s home in the Silver State.

The Marvel star has a ranch in the Sierra Nevada mountains, which underwent a winter storm on January 1st, according to The Hill. The storm left thousands of households without power. With more snow expected to fall in the region over the next few days, some regions received about three feet of snow.

A public relations officer for the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office informed The Hollywood Reporter that he was sent to the local hospital.

Jeremy Renner was seriously injured while plowing snow in Nevada after heavy snowfall. According to Deadline, the actor was taken by air ambulance to a local hospital on Sunday, where he is presently being treated for his wounds.

“Upon arrival, deputies coordinated with Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District and REMSA Health to arrange for medical transport of Mr. Jeremy Renner via care flight to a local area hospital. Mr. Renner was the only involved party.”

“We can confirm Jeremy is in critical but stable condition with injuries suffered after experiencing a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier today,” his spokesperson told Variety in a statement. “His family is with him and he is receiving excellent care.”

Renner told the Reno Gazette-Journal in 2019 that he and his family enjoy living in the Silver State and that it is a place they can genuinely call home, especially given that he spent a lot of time there when he was younger.

“In a big city, it’s hard to find community and even know your neighbors in a big city, but with Reno, I find I know quite a few people here,” he said at the time. “It’s just big enough, and it’s just small enough for me, and I love it.”

The actor has a strong attachment to his family’s home in the Silver State as seen by recent Instagram videos in which he can be seen driving a snowcat and clearing extra snow from his property.

“Pave new paths, holiday adventures,” he wrote in one story. “Nearly done with sledding hill for the kids,” he added in the video.
