ATL rapper Rich The Kid commemorated the loss of his friend, Migos rapper Takeoff, by getting a tattoo of the late rapper. The tattoo was in black ink with “Takeoff” written in cursive on his right hand.
The 30-year-old rapper made the decision to get a hand tattoo in memory of the late Migos member while on a recent trip to Florida. Tattoo MF Red, a Tampa-based artist who specializes in black-and-gray realism, finished the work. In the 30 minutes that passed between Rich’s studio session and a nearby radio interview, Red claimed to have completed the ink, according to TMZ.
In a recent video posted on Twitter, the rapper can be seen receiving fresh tattoos in memory of his pal Takeoff. On his right hand, the word “Takeoff” was tattooed in black ink.

In 2012, Rich supposedly ran into Migos at an Atlanta nightclub. After the meeting, Rich collaborated with the group on “Jumpin Like Jordan” in 2013, which was quickly followed by “Trap-a-Holics,” “Rockets,” and “Too Blessed” by Takeoff.
Rich paid tribute to the 28-year-old rapper in an Instagram post, in which he referred to The Last Rocket rapper as his “best friend.”
“Today I lost more than a brother My twin, my best friend everything, I don’t wanna believe it I can’t,” he wrote. “The most humble person I know we used to share shoes & clothes before we made it with no problem! I miss you already you didn’t deserve that!! i can’t stop crying I love you so much bro forever.”
Takeoff, a former member of the Migos, is still sorely missed by everyone. Since his passing, many other rappers have paid tribute to Takeoff, including Quavo, a fellow member of the Migos and Takeoff’s uncle. In addition to dedicating his song “Without You” to the rapper from “Last Memory,” Huncho also gave him a shoutout when Georgia defeated TCU in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
His brother, YRN Lingo, paid tribute to his deceased brother on Instagram with a touching statement. His mourning was shared by many admirers.
The late rapper Takeoff’s brother, YRN Lingo, wanted to spread a message to the world for his brother. He describes how the “Last Memory” rapper made sure to take excellent care of his family in the post.
The rapper from The Last Rocket promised to buy his younger brother anything he asked for since he always imagined himself being a successful rapper.
The article also contained pictures of the two as kids, which served as a sort of nostalgia trip for his family and supporters. To lessen the agony of the family, many fans sent their condolences to YRN Lingo and even connected with their narrative.
Takeoff died on Nov. 1, 2022, after he was shot three times in Houston. REST IN POWER TAKEOFF…
