Selena Gomez continues to celebrate her special bond with her best friend Courtney Lopez. The Wolves singer shared her favorite moment with a friend, and the internet went crazy over it.
On Monday, Gomez, 30, posted an adorable photo from Lopez’s wedding to her Instagram account.
The Only Murders in the Building star wrote a touching caption. “Though I am blessed in having so many people in my life that are so special. But this one right here, has my heart captured like no one else,” Gomez penned the piece.
“Court, your grace, integrity, class, determination and your love for God has set a beautiful example to me. You’re an amazing friend, wife, daughter, sister and a true leader. I love you sweet girl,” the Calm Down singer shared.
Gomez concluded her post, saying, “(One of my favorite moments with you!”
The Wizard of Waverly Place star’s most recent post came after she addressed the criticism she received for her appearance.
During a TikTok live session, Gomez stated that she is not a model and “never will be,” telling critics to “go away” if they don’t like it.
Selena Gomez has been lingering on the edge of the spotlight for a couple of years now, owing to mental health struggles and her battle with Lupis, which she has discussed publicly. In addition to that, the artist also underwent a kidney transplant in 2017.
Owing to this, the singer has spent long periods of time outside of the public eye. Though following the release of her recent documentary, My Mind & Me and her return to social media, fans hoped the star would be appearing at music events during the year.
The singer is currently in New York, filming for the upcoming season of Only Murders in the Building, along with her co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin. She’s also working with Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd, who joined for the third season.
