The 29th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Winners

The yearly kudoscast for the Screen Actors Guild Awards was only available online, and it took place on Sunday at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, California.

TNT and TBS, which had respectively been airing the SAG Awards since 1998 and 2007, dropped the annual event last May. As a result, the show streamed live on Netflix’s YouTube channel, beginning at 8/7c (which you could also watch via the embedded video below).

The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White and Hacks’ Jean Smart won for best comedy performer and actress, and Abbott Elementary won for best ensemble in a comedy series. The White Lotus won for best drama ensemble, and the best drama star and actress went to Jason Bateman from Ozark and Jennifer Coolidge from Lotus.

Heading into the main event, Ozark‘s final season led the TV pack with four nominations, including nods for Bateman, Laura Linney, Julia Garner and the show’s ensemble. Following closely behind, with three nominations each, were Better Call Saul‘s swan song, HBO’s Barry and Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building.

In the field for Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture, both The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All at Once shared a tie with five nominations each.
