The best of the years 2021 and 2022 will be honored at the 40th International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA), which will take place on Sunday, May 7, and be broadcast from Jamaica. The event’s subject is “Reggae Rise,” and it will honor the best of the two years under that theme.
Voting is currently available online at www.irawma.com for the 32 categories’ nominees as well as the list of special award recipients, which were announced at a press conference last Thursday evening.

Koffee is nominated for seven awards, including Best Female Dancehall/Rap Artiste, Best Female Vocalist, Peter Tosh Award for Recording Artiste of the Year, Emperor of Reggae & World Music Bob Marley Award for Entertainer of the Year, Toots Hibbert Award for Best Album/CD, Best Collaborated Song (Reggae with R&B, Rap, Latin, etc.) for Vroom – The FaNaTix, and (ft Koffee, Idris Elba, Lil Tjay, Davido, Moelogo).
This Special Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of IRAWMA (International Reggae and World Music Awards) will be held/broadcast from Jamaica on Sunday, May 7, 2023. The theme for this year’s IRAWMA is “Reggae Rise.” (#reggaerise, #reggae&worldmusicstillrise, #reggaeawards).
